Privacy Policy
Stowd is built privacy-first. Your stockpile lives on your device, not on our servers. We don't have an account system, and we don't collect, sell, or share your personal data.
What we collect
Nothing about you. Everything you enter (items, quantities, expiry dates, locations, kits, photos, and settings) is stored locally on your phone. It is never transmitted to us and we cannot see it.
No analytics or tracking
Stowd contains no third-party advertising, no behavioral analytics, and no tracking SDKs. We do not use cookies or device identifiers for advertising.
Permissions we request
- Camera: used only on-device to scan product barcodes while you have the scanner open. Images are processed locally and never uploaded.
- Notifications: used only to remind you, on your schedule, before items reach their best-by date. Reminders are generated and scheduled on your device.
Purchases
Stowd Pro is an optional one-time purchase. Payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play, so we never see your name, card, or billing address. To validate and restore purchases we may use a purchase-management service (RevenueCat), which receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and the store receipt. No personal information is attached.
Backups
Your data is included in your phone's own automatic backup (Google or Apple), so a new phone restored from that backup brings it along. You can also save your own copy from Settings and keep it wherever you like, such as Files, Drive, or email. Any copy you save is under your control; treat it like any other personal document.
Children
Stowd is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no personal data, none is collected from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and post the new version here.
