How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new phone?

Open More ▸ Restore purchase, signed into the same App Store / Google account you bought with. Pro is a one-time purchase tied to that account, with no extra charge.

What's the free 7-day preview?

You can try every Pro feature free for 7 days with no card and no account. When it ends, Stowd simply returns to the free version. Nothing is charged, and your data is untouched.

How do I move my data to a new phone?

Easiest: if you set up the new phone from your Google or iCloud backup, your Stowd data comes along automatically. To move it by hand, on the old phone tap More ▸ Settings ▸ Back up and save the copy (to Files, Drive, or email). On the new phone, open that copy with Settings ▸ Restore. Restoring replaces what's currently in the app.

Why does scanning need the camera?

Only to read product barcodes, entirely on your device. Nothing is photographed or uploaded.

Will I get reminded before things expire?

Yes. Enable notifications and set your lead time in Settings ▸ Reminders. Stowd schedules a heads-up that many days before each item's best-by date.

Is my data private?

Completely. See our Privacy Policy: no account, no tracking, nothing leaves your device.
